So the other day, while working on a project for my pastry business, I decided to go and seat in a nearby café to have some sort of ambience.
Working from home can get pretty dull, especially when you have been baking for hours, so some coffee sounded great. I have been going to this local coffee shop for years and what has always amazed me is how pretty the coffee comes out with the froth and the cream design.
I always thought that being a coffee barista took a bit of artistry. Well anyway, I am sitting in this coffee shop, drinking my coffee and looking through the website where I get my cake supplies, and I stumble upon a new product they just launched.
The new product is called Top Melts, liquid art, and I thought, “Wow! How cool!” Here I was thinking of the great liquid designs of the barista and here it was! A way to literally have any image on your coffee or drink! I got up and showed the barista of the coffee shop, he was pretty impressed.
I have yet to try them but I have ordered them. What a great idea, from someone who sells cakes with edible images all the time, these Top Melts are sure to be a big hit with anyone who enjoys a bit of art in their coffee.
